我第一次听慈经,毛毛都竖了,想哭,但强忍。木呆了好几分钟，那种感动无法言喻。买下后，每天都听。我是买双份，一份在办公室听，另一份是给和我听后一样感动的妈妈的。感谢黄慧音的用心架构，也感谢风潮的有新引进。

听到黄慧音的天女，真是令人惊艳，难得能好好聆听的佛曲，真得很好听也，但并不像老妈平常听得唱颂佛曲带著有点偏心的情绪，买了黄慧音给老妈，当然希望老妈能接受啰！这应该不像老妈最排斥的电视上那种流行味很重的佛曲吧！
有些戒慎恐惧悄悄放在老妈的音响里我就出门了，隔天正巧是星期天，一早起来就听见黄慧音的声音在家中飘扬著，我想老妈应该很喜欢吧才会放得这么大声。正想冲过去跟老妈邀功却意外发现老妈一个人沉静静的坐在藤椅上眼角正画著一行行得清泪。
看著老妈的眼泪有些不舍也有不解，最后老妈发现蹲在身旁的我才说很好听，谢谢。
虽然我还是不了解落泪的全部原因但是我想老妈的泪水里有感谢也有温暖，竟管这天寒流冷洌，我和老妈心里的暖度正暖。

During Vesak this year, I helped out at the big tent in front of Aljunied MRT station celebrating the occasion. It was abuzz with activity and throughout the day and night, the air was filled with devotional music and chanting. All of it was soothing and holy, but it seemed that some of the CDs selected reverberated long after they were played, in fact, I was still chanting and singing their sweet, pure melodies days after the celebrations ended. When I, rather embarrassedly sang a few bars to the CD stall staff, they gave a knowing nod and said two words - Imee Ooi.
Imee is an amazing anomaly. Blessed with great talent and gift for making things happen despite seemingly insurmountable challenges, she is also not at all ambitious or driven in grasping way. She just does what she loves and makes it available for us to enjoy. She's a true example of a sincere practitioner.
