Red is the colour of the Earth, the body's prime existence. 
Orange is the colour of energy and movement. 
Yellow is the colour of faith, feeling safe and happy. 
Green, like the plants that give us life, the colour of the heart of loving kindness. 
Blue is the colour of right speech, expression, singing and chanting. 
Indigo is the colour of the third eye, seeing and hearing. 
Purple is the colour of the great lotus, the crown of all existence.
